Every wedding tells its own story—a mosaic of fleeting glances, whispered words, joyful tears, and wild laughter. I don’t approach your day with a checklist of poses, but with an artist’s eye, searching for the in-between moments that reveal who you are and what this day truly means. My goal is to create photographs that feel like memories—raw, honest, and timeless—so when you look back, you don’t just see how it looked, you remember how it felt.

I’m not here to promise you a luxury experience. I’m here to make hiring your wedding photographer as simple as possible. On your wedding day I want to be a “fly on the wall” . This is what allows me to focus on truly capturing the story of your wedding day. Every photo you will see on this site was taken completely candid.

Everyone always tells me they are not “photogenic”. A good documentary photographer can still beautifully tell your story, even for the most awkward people(it’s okay, I’m one of them)

“We Love Candid Wedding Photography, but Really Want Group Shots??”

Although I will photograph the majority of your wedding completely hands off and candid, I still understand that some posed formal shots with family and friends is important to people. For my couples that decide they would like to include these, we will set 20-30 minutes out of your wedding day for formal shots. Although I specialize in candid documentary photography, I have seen more than my share of posed/group shots. In fact, the majority of the 400 plus weddings I’ve photographed included formal shots.

I have been a full time photographer for 9 years and told the stories of over 600 clients all around Charlotte, NC and beyond. Wedding and event photography requires a lot of experience to do correctly. From understanding timelines and where to be for the best shots, to proper files management after the wedding is over. I keep your wedding photos safely backed up for a minimum of 5 years
